
Courtney Mitchell is a freelance Costume Designer for Film/TV based in Toronto, ON with international work experience including Los Angeles and New York City.
Recent television credits include Netflix’s upcoming series Something Very Bad is Going To Happen, and The Untitled Newfoundland Project. Courtney has costume designed feature films such as Chandler Levack’s Mile End Kicks starring Barbie Ferreira, Ally Pankiw’s I used to be Funny, starring Rachel Sennot, Netflix’s feature film Wedding Season, and TIFF selected features I Like Movies (2022), and Quickening (2021).
Courtney has received four CAFTCAD nominations for Best Costume Design in Film, including “Best Costume Design in Film - Contemporary“ for Chandler Levack’s Mile End Kicks, José Lourenço‘s Young Werther, and Tom Dey’s Wedding Season and “Best Costume Design in Indie Feature” for Haya Waseem’s Quickening.
