COURTNEY MITCHELL
Courtney Mitchell is a freelance Costume Designer for Film/TV based in Toronto, ON with international work experience including Los Angeles and New York City.
Recent credits includes Ally Pankiw’s film I used to be Funny, starring Rachel Sennot, Netflix’s feature film Wedding Season, and TIFF selected features I Like Movies (2022), and Quickening (2021). Courtney has worked as an Assistant Costume Designer on large-scale TV series like Apple TV +’s The Changeling, and Netflix’s Sex/Life season 2. Courtney’s costume experience also includes three seasons of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
Courtney has received two CAFTCAD nominations for Best Costume Design in Film, including “Best Costume Design in Film - Contemporary“ for Tom Dey’s Wedding Season and “Best Costume Design in Indie Feature” for Haya Waseem’s Quickening.
Courtney Mitchell is represented by UTA and is an active member of IATSE 873.
